Paul Heaven has more than 30 years general management experience and is by profession a qualified chartered accountant. Having served his articles at Clement Keys & Co and his corporate finance apprenticeship at Ernst & Young; Paul formed Blue Sky Corporate Finance to serve the needs of the small to medium sized enterprise sector. Over the years Paul has become an expert in corporate finance, venture capital, private equity and asset lending and has extensive experience of acquisitions, disposals, floatation and fund raising. Paul is also a regular speaker at Corporate Finance events, a member of the West Midlands Regional Finance Forum and an expert on the funding sources available from equity, debt, grants and trade/asset finance. Paul is Chairman of the Greater Birmingham and Solihull Local Enterprise Partnership (GBSLEP) Access to Finance sub-group; Chair of the GBSLEP Growing Places Fund and a board member of both the cross-LEP and national AMSCI Funds. A weekend Harley Davidson rider and whose bike was once featured as a ‘Readers Ride’ in the Easyrider magazine.

Jonathan Dixon joined Blue Sky Corporate Finance from the British Business Bank where he worked with Local Enterprise Partnerships on the development of new initiatives to support access to finance for growth businesses. He has been active in economic regeneration and business development for well over 15 years. As interim Chief Executive of a £90m fund – Finance Yorkshire, Jonathan led a team that secured investment capital from European Investment Bank, ERDF and UK Government and oversaw its launch in 2010, to offer business loans, seedcorn and equity funding to SMEs with deals ranging from £15k to £2m. For 7 years prior to that, Jonathan was Deputy Chief Executive at the £63m South Yorkshire Investment Fund. Jonathan primarily supports businesses based in Yorkshire and the North East.

Tony Seaton joined Blue Sky Corporate Finance from BDO in 2009. With more than 30 years corporate finance experience, Tony is a key member of the team. Tony is a chartered accountant living in the Black Country and likes nothing better than a pint of Batham’s bitter. He is well known throughout the finance community in the Birmingham, Black Country and Worcestershire regions. Tony has extensive experience of working with all of the regions banks and venture capitalists in raising finance, acquisitions and disposals within the SME market. Tony is also a member of the Access to Finance sub-group of the Black Country LEP.
