Blue Sky Supports Student Enterprise Final
As part of its work in the Black Country, Tony Seaton, Associate Director of Blue Sky Corporate Finance, recently acted as a fund manager at the Student Enterprise Final, organised by the Black Country Education Business Partnership.
The event, held at Molineux, brought together the top two schools from each of the four Black Country boroughs. The teams were given the task of buying and selling shares for an imaginary client, working with their fund manager, and also advising on new companies which could be worth investing in.
The winners at the end of a demanding day, including presenting to all the other teams, in a very tightly fought contest were Crestwood School from Dudley borough.
Tony commented, “The quality of the participants was excellent and showed that the Black Country has the ability to develop the entrepreneurs of the future and it is important that they are given as much encouragement as possible.”
Global Enterpreneurship Week began life as Enterprise Week in the UK back in 2004, it has since become a worldwide movement of entrepreneurial people, with millions unleashing their enterprising talents and turning their ideas into reality.
